The Woodbridge Softball Umpire Association is looking to recruit new members
for the
 Upcoming 2007 Softball Season!

Perfect Attendance!  Ron Zuhl, Woodbridge Umpire Association UIC, is presented a plaque to commemorate perfect attendance for the 2007 Manassas Church Softball League.  Ron's umpires worked over 450 games for the spring/summer season without missing a single assignment.
   
 Who we are...
  • Originally formed in 1984 to serve the Woodbridge Men’s slowpitch softball program.
  • Today we’ve grown and hold contracts for 5 different softball leagues throughout PWC

 

 Who we need..
  • Men and women 18+ years of age
  • Active or retired softball or baseball players
  • Fans of the game
Looking to...
  • Stay in touch with the game
  • Get some exercise
  • Learn a new “trade”
  • Make some extra spending $$$
  • Even have some fun

  • Be part of a professional, respected organization

When and where we work…
  • Spring Season: April – August
  • Fall Season: September - October
  • 2-4 games per weeknight or Saturday day
  • Manassas City (Jennie Dean)
  • Bristow (Valley View Park)
  • Woodbridge (Stadium Complex)
  • Experienced, top-performing umpires frequently participate at local, regional, and national tournaments

Training Clinics...
  • Clinics held once a month January to April
  • Learn... Interpretation of rules, rule application, game control, mechanics, game management etc.
